I. Meeting began at 2:30 E.T.

II. PRIMA Winter meeting
Wednesday afternoon March 8 – a four-hour abbreviated meeting is scheduled for PRIMA. Registrants should arrive on Wednesday. Virtually certain that we will be at the Chase Plaza – the same place where we had last year’s Board meeting. Thirty-five rooms reserved for Wednesday night, 40 for Thursday, plus several for Friday. NPR and PRIMA are jointly responsible for filling 80 per-cent of these rooms. Meeting room for 30 people. PRIMA Suite on Wednesday night and Thursday night. We shouldn’t charge for a full Winter meeting. The charge should be a reduced $50 to cover PRIMA ?expenses. Mike Riksen and Mike Starling will be there.

II. By-laws
We have had one response, from Dave Edwards. How should we consider these recommendations Patty asked that these should be sent out to the Board. All response we get from the members should be shared with the Board and presented to members.

III. CPB Budget—Administration’s proposed cuts
Looks like we need to “man the barricades” again. Rescissions are again proposed. Some of this material will be discussed at PRIMA and the NPR Round Robins.

IV. Leadership Forum
When is Capitol Hill Day scheduled? Not yet known. Cleve stated that PRLF has been advertised for end of April beginning of May. This has nothing to do with NPR. Capitol Hill Day and A-Reps meeting is supposed to culminate the Round Robins cycle. The role of Leadership Forum still not known. Patty will find out more about the status.

III. Meeting adjourned at 2:55 p.m. ET.

Respectfully submitted,
Christina Kuzmych, Secretary
