I. Meeting began at 2:35 E.T.

II. Update on New Orleans PRIMA Conference Planning
Dan and Christina talked with Paul Maassen at WWNO in New Orleans. He has agreed to host the winter conference and will work on best option for hotel. Currently looking at early February or late January to avoid conflicting with Mardi Gras and to get best hotel rates. Christina reported on work to secure Vivian Schiller, Ron Schiller, Kinsey Wilson, and others as presenters and efforts finalize dates for the conference. Discussed Paul Maassen’s ideas for a Jazz reception at the Royale Sonesta hotel or a potential event on a riverboat. Dan and Christina will continue work on the conference.

III. Sound Exchange Discussion
Christina reported on a conference arranged by NPR’s Mike Riksen with public radio representatives regarding the Sound Exchange regarding performance restrictions on number of tracks played. It was decided that they should first try to solve the classical music issues. Once classical has been resolved other genres such as jazz and AAA will be addressed.
