I. Meeting began at 2:30 E.T.

II. Edward R. Murrow

John Herman, Chair of the NPR Foundation, suggested by Tim Eby.

Robert Siegel was also suggested and seconded by several.

Neal Conan also suggested.

III. New Realities Meeting

Patty asked for a roll call of everyone who was going to the New Realities conference and staying for the NPR Board Meeting. She will send information about the New Realities conference to Christina to craft a message to PRIMA membership.

IV. Evaluation from St Louis Meeting

Cleve is still calculating the results of the survey.

V. Fall PRIMA Meeting

Columbus is the top choice so far. Dates down to beginning or end of October. PRIMA membership will be polled as to their preference. Cleve and Tim will check out potential dates with Columbus Chamber of Commerce.

VI. CPB/CSG

New survey represents a large change in protocol. Dorie reported that it took about two hours to complete. Cleve reported that it took a good part of a day to prepare – he did the first round. Some of the requirements do not support good radio practices. Can PRIMA move this issue along by promoting discussion on the PRIMA TALK list? It was decided to plan a phone conversation with PRIMA Board members and Vinnie Curren to assess the situation. Tim volunteered to send a pdf file of the survey.

VII. Meeting adjourned at 2:50 p.m. ET .

Respectfully submitted,
Christina Kuzmych, Secretary
