PRIMA Board Conference Call
December 7, 2010 2:35 p.m. EDT

Present: Cleve Callison, Tom Hunt, Christina Kuzmych, Paul Maassen, Dan Skinner, Bill Wheelhouse

Discussion Summary:

PRIMA Survey Sent Out Today. Asks about future PRIMA Meetings, potential joint Regional Conference, suggested PRIMA by-law changes.

More conference call sessions with Mike Riksen for PRIMA would be helpful. Christina will contact NPR about doing so.

PRIMA’s Non-Profit status has been resolved. Thanks to Dorie Vallillo and Ernie Sanchez for re-establishing our status with the IRS. The board discussed a special thank you for Sanchez providing pro-bono assistance.

Christina reported on the last PRRO meeting and NPR Board Meeting. The Juan Williams situation was discussed by the board and the floor opened for public comment. There was no public comment. A consultant was hired to review and evaluate the process and outcome of the Juan Williams situation. No further information is available at this time. The PRRO leaders also expressed interest in creating a ‘super conference” involving all of the regional organizations.

Session Concluded at 3:10 p.m. ET

Respectfully submitted by Dan Skinner on behalf of Al Bartholet, PRIMA Secretary
