Present: Cleve Callison, WMUB (President); Patty Wente, KWMU (Past President);
Christina Kuzmych, WFIU (Vice President) Dan Skinner, Texas Public Radio,
(Secretary); Dorie Vallillo, WIUM (Treasurer), Al Bartholet, WKSU (Board Member No.
1), Bill Wheelhouse, WUIS, (Board Member No. 3)

I. Call To Order.

PRIMA President Cleve Callison called the meeting to order at 2:31 p.m. ET

II. Review Fall 2007 Conference in St. Paul

Have received 17 responses to PRIMA evaluation survey. St. Paul as a site was highly
rated, MPR location for meetings, MPR Tour, and PRIMA sessions also highly rated.
Respondents indicated desire for NPR presence at or adjacent to PRIMA conference but didn’t care for the extended NPR consultation session held at last conference.

III. Possible site for Winter 2008 Conference – San Antonio

Dan Skinner confirmed Texas Public Radio’s willingness to host the Winter 2008
Conference. The board selected San Antonio for the Winter Meeting. Dates for meeting discussed. Patty Wente suggested that potential dates be presented to membership for feedback. Cleve Callison will solicit feedback from membership.

IV. Ideas for Fall 2008 Conference Discussion

Potential cities were discussed. Chicago emerged as a top candidate for the meeting.
Cleve Callison to follow up with Chicago Public Radio to determine if they are willing to
host. Once potential cities have been determined, Cleve Callison will solicit feedback
from membership regarding choice of city for conference.
