Present: Patty Wente , KWMU (President); Cleve Callison, WMUB (Vice-President); Christina Kuzmych, WFIU (Secretary); Dorie Vallillo, WIUM (Treasurer); Jon Schwartz, WPR (Board Member No. 2); Dan Skinner, WBAA (Board Member No. 2)\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I. Meeting began at 2:30 E.T.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

II. PRIMA Winter meeting<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Cleve provided the agenda for the PRIMA meeting. Mike Riksen will update on congressional activity and Mike Starling will talk about HD radio and Content Depot. Robert Speer will talk about podcasting. Wrap-up about 5 p.m. From 6 to 8 there is an NPR\/PRIMA\/KWMU reception. If PRIMA members are there early, please invite non-PRIMA members to come to the PRIMA meeting. This can provide networking opportunities for PRIMA. Thursday evening the PRIMA suite will be open as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

III. Renewing Stations<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We have four or five stations that need to renew their memberships. Board members were asked to pick up a station and make the call. Dorie sent a list of stations members need to call.<\/span><\/p>\n

IV. Presenting By-law Revisions<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Members discussed best way to present the By-laws in order to give all PRIMA members an opportunity to reflect and vote on. Many of the changes are grammatical in nature; a few are substantive. Patty will bring 30 copies.<\/span><\/p>\n

V. Planning next PRIMA Meeting<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Columbus , Ohio is the frontrunner. It has easy connections to major airports, and is within comfortable driving distance to many PRIMA cities.<\/span><\/p>\n
