PRIMA BOARD MEETING<\/strong>
January 18, 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOTE: there was no December 2021 meeting.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meeting convenes at 2:38 pm ET<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regina reports that Jarl Mohn has decided to join every public radio station in celebration of his 70th<\/sup> birthday.  Her station received a $1,000 check from the Mohn Family Foundation. (WYSO got a check today as well.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

President\u2019s report<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Superregional has been rescheduled for April 11-12 in Denver \u2013 same hotel. A PRRO meeting happens later today.\u00a0\u00a0It looks like it\u2019s gonna happen.\u00a0\u00a0More info to come shortly from PRRO call later today.\u00a0\u00a0DEI will be a central topic.\u00a0\u00a0The agenda has been posted on their website.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steve Schramm reports that Steven Williams GM of WMUK at Western Michigan University has agreed to be nominated to fill the seat of Richard Myles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paul circulated a resume and info about Steven to all board members earlier today. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steve spoke in favor of the nomination.  Regina speaks in favor and says he has demonstrated.  Neenah speaks in support.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regina seconds the motion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All in favor, none opposed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will present this to PRIMA membership at our annual meeting, which will happen in 30 days.  That will be approximately February 21 or 22nd<\/sup>.  Annual meeting to be held that day.  Approximately 4-5 pm.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We could get another speaker.  Discussion about that\u2026\u2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
