Gemma said she will be approaching Jarl next week to check on dates. Paul reported on preliminary inquiries into potential hotels for the conference.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Louisiana Public Broadcasting Call for Flood Relief Assistance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The board discussed various options for providing assistance and whether this would be an appropriate use of member funds. The board decided that it would be outside of the scope of PRIMA\u2019s mission to directly contribute to another non-profit organization. However, PRIMA can help spread the word among PRIMA membership regarding the need. PRIMA can also encourage CPB to provide funding to the local NPR station to enable them to provide additional local news coverage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NPR\/Station Compact<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tim reported the NPR\/Station Compact discussion which took place at SRG.
