Board Members Present:<\/strong> Dan Skinner, Tim Eby, Regina Dean, Karen Olstad, Paul Maason, Christina Kuzmych<\/p>\n

  1. Agenda for PRIMA Meeting at Super Regional<\/strong>\n
      \n
    1. Dan will check on tenure of board positions and officers to see if any need to be elected<\/li>\n
    2. Regina reported that new station from Texas has joined PRIMA, KOSU rejoined.<\/li>\n
    3. Print \u201cSave the Date\u201d cards for PRIMA Conference to distribute at PRIMA mtg<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    4. Spring 2015 PRIMA Conference\u2014May 6-8 in St Louis <\/strong>(Tim and Paul)\n

      1. Suggested Guests & Topics:Want to have conversations rather than presentations\n
          \n
        1. New NPR COO, Loren Mayor since Jarl is unavailable. Dan has contacted Gemma to request, waiting to hear back<\/li>\n
        2. Lessons Learned in Covering Events in Ferguson from St Louis Public Radio<\/li>\n
        3. NPR News Collaborative<\/li>\n
        4. National Public Media<\/li>\n
        5. Legal Issues \/ Update (Q&A)<\/li>\n
        6. CPB Compliance (either CPB or PMBA)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        7. Possible Special Event at Cardinal Game \u2013<\/strong>Tim is researching, including potential underwriters<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        8. Super Regional Conference<\/strong>\n

          1. Registrations are strong, should be a good conference<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
          2. NPR Organizational Changes:\u00a0<\/strong>General discussion about recently announced changes. All expressed hope that new structure would be effective.<\/li>\n
          3. NPR Board Update (Greg)<\/strong>\n
              \n
            1. Annual meeting \u2013 going to be asked to have electronic balloting, will take pressure off of getting quorum for in-person meeting. Asks group whether one drives attendance for the other.<\/li>\n
            2. Tim: there is a significant disconnect with NPR, we need to have strategy conversations about stations\u2019 relationship w\/ NPR, won\u2019t get done at a virtual meeting.<\/li>\n
            3. Super Regional next year will be in San Antonio.<\/li>\n
            4. Concern expressed by PRIMA board members about lack of opportunity to have substantive discussions with NPR in current structure of Super Regional\/Annual Mtg<\/li>\n
            5. Dan will present PRIMA ideas to other PRRO leaders after consulting with PRIMA members.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              No meeting in November due to Super Regional Meeting. Next meeting will be December 19th<\/sup> at 2:30 PM EDT.<\/p>\n
